Cody made the Varsity soccer team for Spring Hill again this year.  He did retain his famous #18.  We will post the schedule for anyone interested.  Cody will be out of town in Alaska on a "big hunt" from September 6-13th, so don't plan on attending games that week.  Cody was elected one of the capitains of the soccer team today (8/28). 

 

The kids are all back in school.  Mindy and Shelby are in the 7th grade this year, Cody is a sophomore, Katy is in 5th grade and Jac is being homeschooled and is in the 6th grade.

 

Cody's first game will be on Tuesday, September 2nd in Spring Hill.  Jac's first game will be Saturday, September 6th.

 

8/29 - Mindy's band schedule has now been posted.  Please check in for performances.

 

9/4 - Cody's first game was called for lightning, however he played today and SH won 3-0.  Cody played center midfielder or attacking mid and scored one goal and had one assist.  The team looked good!  It is a very young team, primarily sophomores and freshman.  They should be GREAT in a couple of years.

 

Shelby's team was in St. Louis last weekend and learned a lot.  They didn't win any, but almost beat the team that beat everyone else in our bracket.  The girls struggled the first three games but really came around during the final game.  They only lost by one point (3-2).  Very impressive!

 

9/7 - Jac's football team played a hard fought game yesterday (Sat).  They lost 18-12, but the score was not an indication of their talent.  Jac had a couple of great runs.  One run was about 25-30 yards.  He almost made it to the endzone.  He had some nice defensive plays, as well. 

 

Mindy was not able to march in the parade Saturday due to illness.  I do believe she will be marching in the Fall Festival here in town on 9/20.  We can't wait! 

 

9/11 - I have received one picture from Cody on the cell phone from Sunday.  So I know he arrived.  We are hoping he hasn't been eaten by a bear yet.....  The good news is that both of the soccer games scheduled for this week were cancelled. 

 

10/9 - It has been a busy month.  Jac's team has only lost one game.  They are a machine!  Cody's team has only won a few games, but Cody is doing well.  Shelby's soccer team is struggling a bit, as well, but are improving every game!  We have lots more games and concerts are soon pending for both Shelby and MIndy.  Does it ever slow down?
